First wanted to say thank you, for everyone whose asked how they can support Luke, Sheena, and their boys Jett and Jace as their house caught fire. So many amazing neighbors and friends standing by ready to be of help!
Luke and Sheena are overwhelmed with support, but also of next steps while still trying to process what happened.
Thank God they were not home today and were safe, thank God no one was hurt fighting the fire and that firefighters were able to save what they could of their memories and home.. They were able to contain the fire to the garage, laundry room, office and upstairs bedroom which have been completely devastated, the rest of their house suffered water and smoke damage and completely unlivable, they’ll need to make a temporary home feel like home, which means making sure the boys feel as comfortable as they felt in their home.
Unfortunately, they also lost two cars in the fire one of which was a ‘67 Firebird that Luke spent 6 years restoring and had just won an award at its first car show this October, which is heart breaking knowing the time, money and effort spent on it, just went up in flames..
They have a long road ahead of them to get back into the house and of course there’s no doubt Luke will begin on another classic car!
If you’d like to help send them a meal, help with necessities, toys/clothes for kids, support while in temporary living, or help his classic car fund, please donate only what you’re able.
They’re so thankful to everyone’s support and count themselves as lucky, all safe and sound and together..
