My name is Lee Goldberg. I created this fundraiser to help my good friend John Accunzo with the costs associated with open heart surgery (from which he is now recovering) most specifically living expenses while out of work. Since Pennsylvania takes good care of the medical costs, the living costs while out of work (there is no state disability in PA) are the real issue here. Let me tell you a little about John, who recently had bypass surgery:

  John Accunzo has been a sound engineer, involved in a wide variety of productions, for nearly four decades. John continually strives for excellence, rendering service to those grounded in the principle and vision consistent with a biblical worldview. Over the years, John has ensured that the message and music of many local Christian artists have been skillfully communicated to literally thousands.

For over 10 years, John has been serving as the Ministry Director and Sound Engineer of the "Souled Out Coffeehouse", currently located in Huntingdon Valley, PA (I recently performed there myself). He is also the Vice President of Battle4Children.org, where he promotes their efforts to “help provide a voice for child victims after their traumatic experience from sexual abuse/trafficking”. John is happily married and lives in NE Philadelphia.
