Our dear friend John Copeland, a treasured member of our community and long time doorman at Akbar, has suffered a major medical trauma. A few weeks ago, he had his first seizure, which caused a serious fall and he broke his pelvis. He was rushed to the ER and eventually transferred to Cedars for emergency surgery. He has been in the hospital since surgery and has now been moved to a rehabilitation facility to recover and heal, but it is a very long, painful and difficult recovery.

He will not be able to function normally or work for many months. Rent and bills are piling up. Let’s keep him from going into financial crisis. Please help him if you can!
