My name is John, I am 38 years old. I suffered a traumatic brain injury when I was 22 years old, due to a violent robbery attempt. My health has deteriorated over the years. I am only able to use one eye to see, I have severe double vision—diagnosed as diplopia—as well as nerve damage that affected my balance. I walk with a cane and presently live with my parents.

Previously, I worked and was self-supportive. When my health quickly deteriorated, I was unable to drive. I sold my vehicle and moved in with my parents.

I applied for disability in 2022 and was denied—per the judge, I was able to stuff envelopes!

I have not been able to find employment that complements my disabilities. I reside in the state of Florida and am unable to get Medicaid or any type of assistance for my health. I have since been diagnosed with severe vision issues that require a neuro eye specialist. My goal with your kind donation is to receive the medical care I require and re-apply for disability.
