Hello all, I am taking on Ironman Leeds on 16th August 2026 and would like to raise a bit of cash for two charities; The Lucas Brand Moyamoya Foundation and the premature baby charity Bliss, by asking for sponsorship.

The photos are of Lucas who suffered from the rare Moyamoya disease, that caused him to have many strokes and the need for brain surgery he tragically did not survive. His mom was best friend of my wife’s goddaughter and so my wife and I saw an image of Lucas on social media, in his moms arms before he died, with tubes etc in his mouth and nose. The image instantly stuck a chord with my wife and I, as we had a similar image of our daughter Katie, in my wife’s arms before she died, tubes in her little nose and mouth.

We are splitting funds between the two charities.
