John's Final To-do List

Ever since we were children, our dad was the go-to “bob the builder” for everything and anything you could think of. He built the house we currently live in and has constantly worked to help others with any problems that arose with theirs. For anyone who knows John Hulbert, they know he has never been able to sit still for a second in the day. However, last month after being suddenly diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer, this constant, never sit still energy has started to diminish.

As anyone who has been given a terminal diagnosis knows, hundreds of thoughts rush through your head filled with a long list of things that need to get done. This to-do list paired with the lack of energy has left my dad at a standstill. While we have done everything we can do to help the situation, there are various things we are unable to do. In order to complete a variety of construction projects that need to be done, we have to hire help. This is something my dad never needed to do and will be very pricey. He has always been a guy that was constantly lending a helping hand to others, no matter how big or small the task was. Now it's our turn to try to lend a hand his way. Any donation will help grant one of the last goals my dad has for his life and my family would be eternally grateful.
