Hi, my name is John, and I'm raising some extra money for genetic tests that are external to my benefits.

I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in December of 2025 and have been getting treatments since then.

This is the first time I've decided to ask for some help, as there's a genetic test that covers much more of my genome than what OHIP covers. The test itself is through a private company, and costs about $3000.

I'm hoping this test will reveal more treatment options for me, and possibly open up studies I can be a part of - and see if there is a genetic component to my disease that can help my family.
