Our father John became ill on December 2, 2020 with what we thought was the stomach bug. Within a few days of feeling ill he was confirmed to be positive with the Covid 19  and was getting sicker and sicker by the day. He was running very high temperatures and suffering with extreme body aches and pains.  Once the shortness of breath began he needed to go to the hospital for treatment.  Upon arrival he was admitted with a 104 temperature and was diagnosed with double Pneumonia. We found out he was in acute respiratory failure.  He remained in the hospital for 9 days and was released to remain on full time oxygen therapy, which is still on  full time as of today.  

Prior to our father becoming sick, our mother had lost her job due to the circumstances of the virus.  Because of this our parents were already facing a loss of income.

Since his release from the hospital the bills are starting to arrive and as of today are at over $5,000.00. He is still out of work and has exhausted all of his paid leave.  If anyone can help our family in any way with the cost of ongoing medical bills, medications and everyday living expenses we would greatly appreciate it.  We are hopeful that his lungs will recover soon so he can get back to life as normal and return to work.
