On December 9, John Rafter was found deceased in his home, the victim of a vicious homicide.  John is survived by two minor children and one adult child.  

We are asking for donations to help John's family with funeral expenses and more importantly, to help ensure his children are given the opportunity to continue their education that John would have provided.

After funeral expenses are covered, the remainder will be set aside for John's kids, probably in a trust.  Details to be determined.

Nothing will replace John to his family, friends, coworkers and children, but this will hopefully ease the burden.

Who am I?  
I am a friend of John's from Capital One.  Heather Cohn, a long-time family friend will be in charge of dispersing funds.

What will funds be used for?
To start, funeral expenses.  Anything above that will be used to help John's minor children with life expenses, such as college tuition.  

100% of this effort will go to John's furneral expenses and children.
