Hello. My spouse, love of my life, and best friend, Johnpaul, passed away on August 26, 2025, after getting a bone marrow transplant in the midst of a long battle with lymphoma. We’re raising funds to honor the most incredible man that many have known. 

As his widower, I now have to find the means to pay for various expenses. This includes the fee for JP's body to be transported from the hospital morgue to a funeral home ($900.00), embalming of the body ($895), more than $5000 in funeral home costs, buying a casket ($2000), the added cost of burial ($4,250), and the purchase of a burial plot (up to $8000 to $11000, depending on where the cemetery is).  

I was supporting JP financially for over a year while JP underwent his cancer treatments and now have nothing left to pay for the expenses associated with laying my husband to rest.

He lit up a room and always showed kindness, gentleness, a love for animals, and a love for franchises like Harry Potter and Ghostbusters. He also loved Halloween and the holiday season. Sadly, he won’t be able to reach his 43rd birthday that was coming up in September. We’d like to raise funds to bury him in early September — ideally the week of September 8. We know it’s very short notice, but we want to honor and remember a beautiful individual, and we can’t do it without your help.
