John Paul Douglas Funeral Expenses

Hello, my name is Crystal Ann Driggers and I am trying to raise money for my cousin, John Paul Douglas' funeral expenses. John Paul was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, husband, nephew and cousin and was liked as well as loved by all. John enjoyed working on anything, camping and tubing, fishing, motorcycles, trucks, 18 wheelers, shooting pool, playing pranks, bowling, mud riding, water sports, gaming, drinking some cold Budweiser beer, remote control cars, animals, yardwork and cookouts. He was passionate about his family, generous and loved to help people, he loved children  and he loved his family, his wife and 10 month old son more than you  could possibly imagine. He wore Harley Davidson tshirts, lived for family get togethers and barbeques, playing with the kids and boats. John was battling depression, alcoholism and was in the process of recovering from drug addiction. I don't really want to speculate about what thoughts he was having or what hopes or dreams he hadn't accomplished yet but I do know that none of us can attest to the way another person feels deep down inside. Pain is real and life's struggle is real. John Paul ended his life's struggle on September 21, 2016. He left a lot of questions unanswered but we know that he loved us all dearly. An account has been set up at Samart Funeral Home of Houma Crematorium Inc. The funeral director in charge is Victoria Elizabeth Davis. The money that is raised will be used to pay for funeral services. John's sister, Dawn Michelle, will be collecting the monies on my behalf because I am unable to collect the money without a banking account. If there are any funds left unspent we will give it to his wife Amber and son Brady. The balance on the account is $4588.40. We have to pay at least $3450.00 to have his body released from the coroner's office. Our family consists of mostly paycheck to paycheck incomes and his parents are on a fixed income. Most of our family lives out of town and we would like to be able to lay him to rest as soon as we can and we are grateful for any help that we can get from others.
