On Tuesday, January 11, we lost our beloved Johnny Sanders. He was diagnosed with stage four esophageal cancer just three weeks before his passing and our family has been completely blindsided by his death.

Johnny was husband, best friend, and life partner to Essie. He was daddy and "Johnny Big Head" to Tiffany and Ashley.  He was "pop-pop" and number one buddy to Rhilynn. He was a son, a brother, and an uncle to a host of family members. To everyone - he was a friend. It's hard to find words to describe a personality so big and so loving, and he will be so greatly missed by all of us. We are heartbroken. 

Many people have reached out to us asking what they can do or how they can support us during this time of need. The greatest help would be a love offering. Our family was completely unprepared financially to cover the unexpected costs of Johnny's funeral and associated expenses, so we are graciously asking for your help. Any amount that is placed on your heart to give will support the Sanders family as we grieve and try to move forward.
