Support for a Health-Driven Move and Fresh Start
Donation protected
Hi friends —
I want to thank everyone who has reached out, donated, or shared kind words — your support has truly meant more than I can say.
After my initial post, I wanted to offer a little more clarity and context. This move wasn’t something I planned or chose lightly — it became necessary because of growing health and mobility challenges. The stairs in my previous upstairs unit became increasingly difficult and unsafe to navigate, and I was recently approved to move into a downstairs unit that will offer much more stability and accessibility for daily life.
While I’m incredibly grateful for that opportunity, the move happened quickly, and it’s brought with it some heavy financial strain. There’s the overlap of two rents, a new security deposit, moving expenses, and the need to purchase some basic furnishings again — including a bed, since I had to sell almost everything during a previous move.
I’m working full-time, picking up extra days each week, and selling off what I can to ease the burden. But even with all of that, the timing and upfront costs are more than I can manage alone right now. That’s why I’m humbly keeping this fundraiser active.
The new place is set, and I’ll be moving in on the 1st, so the timing is tight. The landlord is kindly working with me where they can, but I still need to show good faith on move-in.
If you’re in a position to help — whether that’s through a donation, a kind word, or simply sharing this link — I’d be incredibly grateful. Every bit helps move me closer to getting through this transition with stability and peace of mind.
With sincere appreciation,
