Johnny’s Hearing Opportunity

As many of you know Johnny has struggled with hearing loss for most of his life. In the past several years his hearing has dramatically declined and that has made daily life very difficult and really taken a hit on his confidence. We have tried several different hearing aids and different things to help but those are just temporary fixes and don’t seem to help as much as we hoped. We have finally been approved for the opportunity of a lifetime and Johnny has been accepted to be a candidate for cochlear implants. This will be a permanent solution to his hearing loss that impacts his quality of life on a daily basis, both at work and home. With this exciting opportunity also comes a hefty medical bill and unfortunately insurance isn’t picking up much of this. Our co-insurance is about $5000 after all is said and done and we have to put down $2000 up front from that to get this procedure done for him. We have jumped a lot of hurdles to get to this point and receiving this news today was a major set back.

Having this surgery will give Johnny so much more confidence and boost his self esteem in every area of his life. This will open up so many doors for him and give him a whole new quality of life. We’re not asking for a hand out but if anyone would like to help contribute to giving Johnny the gift of hearing we will forever appreciate it. I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he finally hears more clearly than he ever has after this is done. Thank you!
