This is Stephanie, John’s daughter. On Friday July 12,2024 our father was in a car accident that took his life. There are no words to explain how much he will trully be missed by so many. He had the biggest heart and he just loved everyone around him. It didn’t matter if you knew him for 5 minutes or 5 years, he was somebody you could just love and enjoy being around. He was a bright light in a scary dark world. He was taken from us too soon, it’s something none of us were prepared or ready for.

We (his 4 kids) didn’t think this was something we would be doing so soon.

As most of you know he lived in South Dakota, we will be traveling to SD to gather his things and bring him back home where he belongs. It’s hard to ask for help and it doesn’t come easy to any of us as we would have liked to do this on our own but we weren’t ready for this and are asking if you would like to, if you knew our dad, if he touched your heart in any way, to help us bring him home.

At the very least please keep his memory alive by sharing your stories about him and continue to remember him everyday❤️
