Johnny's Emergency Veterinary Needs

On August 31st, 2022 while driving on the 237 in Hayward going towards 880 south, I spotted a kitten on the side of the freeway. He was malnourished, terrified and in need of care. I picked him up and took him home, and he was named Johnny. This resilient and special little kitten managed to get a bit healthier and gained some weight, but much to my dismay recently had a severe kidney issue that nearly took his little life. Johnny was estimated to be around 5 or 6 weeks old when I found him on August 31st, so I was devastated to learn this kidney issue could be life-threatening. To somehow end up on the side of the freeway with no one around at such a tiny young age is terrible enough. I was determined to give this little guy the best life possible. In doing so, I've had to take Johnny to emergency care. To continue with this care and allow him to live a healthy life, I need as much help as possible with the veterinary costs.
