Save Johnny's Diner

Hi, I'm Dennis Wagner and I'm fundraising for Johnny's Diner which is being forced to move due to renovations to its current business center.

After 27 years in the same location our beloved Johnny's Diner will need to move by the end of December because of the sale of their site at Semoran and Scarlet in Winter Park, FL. They've been offered a spot in the new strip mall after a two year downtime and triple the rent. That will not work for them. Finding a new location in an expensive market is not their only problem seeing how they will need to renovate their kitchen to meet new health and safety regulations at a cost of at least $100,000.

Having been frequent customers for over 20 years my wife and I and many other diners would sorely miss this true neighborhood meeting place if the move in not possible and they shut down. For older customers like myself and my wife it is our Facebook with real faces. It is one of the few locally owned diners left in the area.

Owners Johnny Krasniqi and sister Linda Prekaj have been living the American dream after immigrating from Albania. They and their entire family have worked hard to establish a very successful eatery serving classic American diner fare at affordable prices.

I'm establishing this Gofundme page for those that share our love of this diner to be able to help make the move possible by easing the financial cost.
