Derby days is Sigma Chi’s annual philanthropy, held every year in the spring, where we join forces with our brothers nationwide at their individual chapters to raise money for the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the Children’s Miracle Network. These two wonderful organizations work to fund the research, treatment, and care of cancer patients in North America. In just the last year alone, Sigma Chi chapters nationwide raised almost $500,000 for the organizations, and the chapter here at San Jose State is responsible for about $10,000. With the help of you we can easily surpass this amount while having a great time in the process.

Our goal is to raise $1,600 before March 1st, and with your help we can not only obtain this goal but we can exceed our expectations. Myself and the brothers of Sigma Chi would greatly appreciate your donation regardless of the amount. Any donation will help raise money for an amazing cause as well as help spread awareness about our philanthropies.
