The women of 3CW Productions are thrilled to announce our newest project, and are reaching out to the community for support. As a dedicated group of creatives, 3CW is passionate about bringing compelling stories to life, and with your help, we can make Johnnyboy & Zelda a reality.

Johnnyboy & Zelda tells the heartfelt and adventurous story of orphan twins navigating the vibrant yet challenging streets of Miami as they celebrate their seventeenth birthday. A momentous occasion both for them and their governmental nemesis, The Babytakers - also known as the foster care system. They've had it out for the Cruz twins since they slipped from their grasp at age nine. In turning seventeen, the Cruz twins have one more year before outgrowing the system. After almost a decade of finding creative ways to get by, Zelda looks forward to her freedom as a legal adult. Johnnyboy, however, yearns for the “perfect” family, and knows that his window for opportunity is coming to a close. The Cruz twins have been together through it all, but as age eighteen comes closer, their lifeline alongside eachother gets blurred. This drama unleashes the inner turmoil that comes with having an unconventional childhood and questions what it means to truly be family.

As local filmmakers with roots in Venezuela and Haiti, we are passionate about bringing this unique narrative to life, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of Miami. We believe this story will resonate with our diverse community and beyond, shedding light on the struggles and aspirations of those often overlooked.

The funds raised will be covering a variety of essential expenses to ensure the highest quality production. Specifically, your contributions will go towards costumes and props, allowing us to create authentic and visually captivating scenes. Additionally, the funds will help us secure the necessary equipment as well as providing meals for our hardworking cast and crew. Finally, we aim to submit our completed work to various film festivals, and your donations will cover the fees associated with these submissions.
