On May 2nd our dad, Johnny Strickland, suffered a stroke in his brain stem. He started at Bronson, where they got him through the immediate dangers that came with that, and is now at Mary Freebed for rehabilitation. He has come a long way already, but still has quite a ways to go. He will need extensive therapy to help regain his ability to breathe, swallow, and do most things on his own. During what are sure to be at least a few difficult months, we are trying to help raise money for him; medical bills, day to day bills, all the bills that will still be due when he finally makes it home! And all the care that he may need once he does get home! We appreciate any thoughts, prayers, and donations anyone can offer!
