Johnny Sleutel

As many of you know our small community suffered a tremendous loss on Nov 23rd 2023. Long time volunteer Firefighter John Sleutel who was also a loving husband, father and papa passed suddenly from a brain bleed. John leaves behind his beautiful wife of 42 years Jean his two kids Marion and Jeremy and of course the Apple of his eye his 4 grandchildren. Johnny was the main provider for his family. Losing him is devastating enough but now Jean is faced with financial hardship. Not knowing how she will keep her home where she lives with her two oldest grandsons. Jean is disabled and unable to work and she won’t be able to collect Johnny’s social security until she’s of age. We know times are hard for everyone right now and we all know Jean hates to ask for help however if you are able to help with Johnnys final costs and keeping a roof over Jean, Alex and Dylan’s head we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you all so much for coming together for our family during this hard time your love, prayers and support mean everything. Words could never fully express our gratitude.
