Johnny Needs Our Support Now

Please help!

Johnny Rogers is in need of assistance and support.

Johnny is a lifelong staple to the Martha’s Vineyard community. Going way back, Johnny taught tennis in Oak Bluffs, earned respect on the basketball court and was the friendly face you saw at the movies! Johnny knows everyone and everyone knows and loves Johnny!!

Johnny and his lifelong love and partner, Gloria Taylor live in Oak Bluffs. They have had their share of medical issues, as we all have. However theirs has reached an all time high of late and they are in serious need of support.

They are both are on dialysis, which has its own challenges, but Johnny also has diabetes. He was at Brigham and Womens hospital in Boston from October to January 2024-2025 . He had to have amputations on both legs and once released from the hospital he has been recently sent for rehabilitation at North End Rehab also in Boston. On top of all that, he is also in need of a kidney.

It goes without saying that the bills are already astronomical! The stress of the mounting bills is only a deterrent to his health. Johnny has always been there and ready to support anyone in need - now it’s his turn to be supported.

Please help him feel the love as we have all felt from him, with donations for his medical expenses.
