First of all, we really hate to ask for help like this. Johnny broke his finger a couple weeks ago and needs surgery. It is broken so badly, he will need to have a metal pin/plate put in. As many of you know, I haven't had any income since November 2019 due to health issues and not being able to find a work from home job during covid. We have been relying solely on Johnny's income as a chef. He has to have this surgery on Tuesday, February 16th, 2021. He was just informed by the orthopedic surgeon that his share for the surgery after his insurance will be close to $4000 plus the $3000 hospital bill (and there will be additional follow-up visit costs). He has to make the full payment before surgery (I have no idea why they waited until today to tell him that). If he doesn't have the surgery because we can't afford it, he risks damaging his hand further and not being able to work. We are completely overwhelmed. If he can't work, we will lose everything. We don't have any savings or credit due to filing bankruptcy (due to my medical bills) in November 2019. I normally only post fundraisers for others, but we are desperate right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated by us and our family. We know times are very tough for most of you right now, so we truly appreciate anything. Thank you.
