Hey friends and family, I’ve had several asking about Baby Luke. We have decided to go ahead with a go fund me to help during this time. Baby Luke was born on August 14, 2025, and we were told he was a healthy infant. Unfortunately, he started to develop abnormal respirations. He ended up at Vanderbilt children’s hospital at 2 weeks old, just in time, by the grace of God and a mother’s instinct that something was wrong. Luke was diagnosed there with a congenital heart defect called Coarctation of the Aorta, he also had multiple VSD’s. He had an open heart surgery at 3 weeks old and then had to have a 2nd open heart surgery at 5 weeks old. He had pulmonary artery bands placed on his artery and will have another surgery to remove those in 6-12 months.

This is starting week 5 in PCICU at Vanderbilt. He is on a roller coaster ride of good and bad days. Donations will be used to pay current Dr bills, trips made back to Nashville when he is finally released, and the cost of his third surgery.
