Johnny Lacio’s life’s journey
Donation protected
Johnny Lacio is a 38 year old native of San Pedro, CA . He attended San Pedro High School. He worked at Godmother’s in San Pedro where he faithfully worked until his advanced stage of congestive heart failure and diabetes caused him to suddenly stop working. He is at home and being lovingly cared for by his mother, my retired older sister. She lives on her social security and Johnny from his disability allotments. Their home is not handicapped equipped and Johnny is in need of a handicap ramp and double doors that open as he is wheel chair bound due to open wounds on his foot. These wounds may lead to amputation, but his doctors are attempting to save his leg. Johnny is home now, but must go to doctor appointments almost weekly as his wound must be reviewed and tended to professionally. His twin brother, Alex, died three years ago of the same heart condition. My sister, Gloria, is providing his round the clock care and is in need of the ramp and double doors to the back door of the house to facilitate her in taking Johnny in and out of house. Johnny cannot put weight on his foot. The ramp and doors are a necessity as are other handicap accessories in the bathroom.
