Hello #WeAreJohnnyStrong Community. We have laid our warrior to rest. And now as the dust settles, since so many of you have been asking, I’d like to start this fundraiser to try and help the Kinney family with Johnny’s funeral expenses. No one should have to bury their child, and no one should have to carry the burden of funeral expenses for that child alone, especially when there are so many compassionate people that are looking to help. That is why I’m reaching out to you once again. 

Gayle, John and Maddie have been through hell these last two years. When Johnny was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, the fight for Johnny’s life began. From chemo, to surgery after surgery, to being cancer free, and then getting the news that the cancer had returned (this time to his lungs), and then ultimately to his passing, the Kinney family has endured every range of emotion imaginable. 

If we can ease the worry about their future, just a little bit, that would be so helpful. Please consider donating what you can…every dollar counts.
