Johnny & Katrina Jaime of Holbrook

Hi, my name is Robin. I am fundraising for Johnny and Katrina Jaime. At this time we are opening this fundraiser in hopes that we will be able to help relieve some of the financial burden and As a community we can come together to help make this difficult path ahead a little easier. More than anything we ask for prayers for little Taliya, her twin brother and family.

Here is their story, from Katrina:

On June 29th our hearts were crushed as we found out that our baby girl, Taliya had defects that correlate with a chromosome disorder. The Dr mentioned trisomy 13 and 18 and we were heartbroken to find that this meant she was considered incompatible with life. Fast forward to a month later the official amnio results returned with a diagnosis of trisomy 21- Down syndrome, which means baby girl has a chance of life- Thank you Jesus. But, this does not explain the other medical conditions that presented themselves during the ultrasound. Taliya has a soft tissue growth that has formed at the base/tongue of her mouth, a heart defect as well a missing nasal bone. There are issues with her umbilical cord that need to be monitored which entail twice a week or more visits to the valley. We have a long road ahead as Traveling, hospital stays and corrective surgeries are in the future.
