Johnny karate NYC needs your help !

Johnny Karate has been a part of the Brooklyn community for the past 10 years. We are a lot more than the “local Karate school.” Our program is specifically designed for leadership development. We use the martial arts as a tool to create kids with positive attitudes, respect for adults, patience, honesty, and an indomitable spirit. These are all attributes needed to be champions in life. We have built long lasting, genuine relationships over the years. I am very concerned we will not be able to continue because of the pandemic. We have had to stay at home as do our students. Without enough income, we will not have our business running for very long. We have applied for small business loans only to be denied. We are not receiving any support from the government, local of nationally. We are dedicated in teaching students to have discipline, respect and humility while also teaching students the fine skills of Martial Arts. We are able to still help kids via Zoom classes. however will need our facility when we are cleared to open. Johnny Karate was a second home to our students;many friendships were blossomed. The owner Sensei John has wholeheartedly put everything into his business, only to have his business in dire straits during this time. He wants to continue to be in his students lives. Unfortunately, the company is still required to pay rent in full and to pay the bills on time. 
We are asking local residents to help if they can. We have set up a Go Fund Me account. Our goal is to raise funds to make sure we are able to continue helping kids and families when we are allowed to reopen. Kids are going to need normalcy and a place to learn and socialize with other kids. If you make a donation you are helping our neighborhood and local families.
