Johnny Golden, Jr. passed suddenly in an unforeseeable and unfortunate house fire. He leaves behind 3 children, Jack, Jenna and Jace (all in their teens) to fight on without their father by their side. Johnny is an Army veteran who served 4 years in the armed services. His last station was in AK where he met his wife Deb and had his three children. Johnny spent about 20 years enjoying the state of Alaska and all the outdoor sports it had to offer, Baseball, hockey, softball, hiking and fishing. Johnny was a proud Army Veteran and spent his down-time making as much time as he could for his children and coaching his children’s sports teams. During his working hours he was an IT technician for the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Johnny grew up in Campton, NH and was a stellar athlete and scholar in Campton Elementary School and Plymouth Regional High School. His senior year he was the New England Wresting Champion for his weight class. His team has said, “Golden was a tremendous competitor, nothing fazed that kid, he would sacrifice his entire body for anything, kid was an animal in all sports”. Johnny had a heart of pure gold, a smile as big as the world and accepted everyone exactly how they were.
Let’s please open our hearts and help the family deal with the current strife and horrible loss and if possible plan for the future. We love you “Golden’s” and the NH community along with the AK community is here to help. God Bless and if there’s more we can do please let us know.
