Not in a million years would I have thought I would be reaching out for help of this kind. Johnny Clark, my other half, the other piece of my heart passed away this morning. He had been struggling with Diabetes and had a Kidney transplant last June. Covid had been keeping him from working a lot due to the lack of jobs and his immune system being compromised.  He was diagnosed with Covid Aug. 1st. He has been in the hospital every since. We were only passing through our hometown to pick up some stuff so he could finally go back to work. Our plan was to come back here (Bakersfield) after this job, get a place and settle here. As of right now I have the 2 Grandkids that we adopted together and no income,  no place to live, burial costs, living expenses...the list goes on. My head is so foggy I don't even know what else. What I do know is my heart is broken. I would give anything for him to still be here, by my side.
