It is with a very heavy heart that we launch this fundraiser for our beloved Scarborough Boardriders Club member Johnny Chamberlain who passed away suddenly last week. Our thoughts are with Elaine, Aidan and Anna and their extended family here and abroad in Canada during this difficult time.

The committee of Scarborough Boardriders will forever miss Johnny. He was our dedicated gear steward and BBQ man for many years. Up at the crack of dawn to pick up the trailer and there at the end of the day to help pack up.

Johnny was awarded Senior Club Person of the year in 2018 for his selfless commitment to the club, but could have won it every year.

Johnny, we thank you for your quirky humour and ongoing commitment to our club. You have left a deep impression on all of our lives, from groms to old saltys. We will miss you dearly.
