My name is John Eric. Son of Johnnie Mendel. My father passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016. He was admitted to the hospital only 5 days before due to a fall causing 3 cracked ribs and a bleeding spleen. During his stay he had his spleen removed causing him to be taken off of his blood thinner medication which in turn, caused him to have a stroke and unfortunately he could not recover. He fought hard and lived a very long and happy life. Always stayed positive and supported me and my family with anything and everything. This money would be used for my fathers funeral expenses. Absolutely any cent will help us put Johnnie to rest. He reached out to and touched so many people in his life. Thank you all in advance for your kind words and any donations made.
