He is now awake and seems to be doing ok but we are probably still looking at a rehab stay.

Most know that dad has gone back to the hospital.
He had a cardiac event on Friday and was down for 5-6 minutes before they got him back. He is currently stable but on a ventilator and sedated at this time.
After discussion with mom we have chosen to use this for funds for me for travel, car repairs (oil, tires) ect as I make all the trips to Louisville to take her, take her things when she is staying, pick them up ect. Because me missing work is also putting me in a bind at times.
This also works if I need to pick her up something for basic necessities ect as I don’t have access to their account.
Hey everyone! As most of you know Dad (Johnnie Cross) has been placed back in Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
I procrastinated setting this up because until today we thought he would just be there thru the weekend.
He has to have a TIPS revision due to part of the mechanism collapsing or narrowing. This is the device that saved his life 4 years ago!
Originally it was scheduled for today 07-18-24 but that has now been canceled and an undetermined date to reschedule.
His heart rate/kidney numbers and blood pressure all have to be in a certain range to preform the procedure. All of these are being treated by medication at this time.
He has already been cleared by the cardiologist and the urologist to have the procedure as all test have came back with no issues.
This fund is being set up to assist with the funds needed while at the hospital and assistance with the household bills as mom will be missing her job while she is there and it’s income they desperately need.
