John Guiffre's SCI Recovery Fund

                My name is Michael Guiffre, my father John Guiffre (52 yrs old) was involved in a car accident 8 months ago in which he broke his neck. As a result of his injury he damaged his spinal cord and was paralyzed from the shoulders down. Doctors were very adamant about him not recovering and never regaining movement. Hearing this was absolutely devastating, but I knew if someone was going to put up a fight and make them a believer it would be him... Miraculously he started to show some function to his arms, and later his legs! Doctors were in awe of how he was progressing. He's been working incredibly hard since then to get his mobility back, but as of recently he's exhausted his health benefits for therapy during his most important stages of recovery. Inpatient rehab is extremely expensive, and I would never ask for help unless it was the last option, I just know my dad is striving to progress more and he's unable to do so in his current situation. We're starting this campaign in hopes that we can raise enough money to get my dad the proper intense inpatient rehabilitation, and adequate nursing care for when he's able to return home. Anything helps, no donation is too small, and if you don't have the means to do so, if you could please help raise awareness of this fundraiser by sharing on your social media outlets that would be super beneficial and appreciated. There will also be an art show mid June @raison_gallery in Long Island, New York, so I would be more than happy for any art donations that could be put up for auction at the show! ..
