My name is Johneesia Sholtz, and I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a physician. This journey has been far from easy, marked by challenges, setbacks, and obstacles that at times felt impossible to overcome. Yet through resilience, faith, and unwavering determination, I have continued to push forward.

From being the first in my family to pursue this path, to balancing financial hardships while dedicating myself fully to my studies, I have faced many moments where quitting might have seemed easier. But I never gave up. Every obstacle became fuel for my purpose: to become a physician who can bring compassionate, equitable healthcare to communities that need it most.

Now, I am in the final stretch of medical school. Despite years of sacrifice and exhausting every resource available, I have reached a financial roadblock that I cannot overcome alone. Without additional support, my progress toward graduation and serving patients in need could come to a halt.

Becoming a physician has always been more than just a career goal for me; it is a calling born from my resilience and a deep commitment to serve others.
