Johnathan Needs a Safe Place Before Navy

My name is Johnathan, entering a rough patch. I'm trying to join the Navy, already started the process.

I had to move from Denver to Colorado Springs, and in doing so lost my job. Do not have a car, I've been applying everywhere within a 3 hour walking distance like crazy to no avail.

Have no money, working on getting food stamps, and I've been livng on a friend's couch for the last few months, but he's suddenly moving out and I can't go with. I have until June 1st, just five days before my birthday, until I receive some kind of eviction notice, I think.

My current plan is to spend all day at the library, with my phone plugged in, until they close, then sit outside the library until it's time to sleep.

Then when it's time to sleep, the only idea I have, is find a way into this gas station that's been abandoned for years, very overgrown with plants, and hope no trouble finds me.

Rinse and repeat while aggressively job-hunting until I can begin MEPS/bootcamp.

I know this is a flimsy plan but it's all I have and I'm scared. I've never been officially diagnosed, but I'm pretty sure I have ADHD and some form of autism.

I'm normally just a quiet game nerd, but I've found myself lost in a city where I have pretty much no friends. I do, but they live in other states. They are the ones who told me to make this.

Some of them tell me the gas station idea is a solid (temporary) idea and to be careful and go for it, while others are saying it's too risky and to buy a tent. Either way I have no money.

I can't sleep outside, or sleep at the local shelter again. Last time I tried that, I was elbow to elbow with people coughing all night, with open sores, I got zero sleep and my backpack got stolen. I am NOT going back there.
