On Febuary 5th, 2021, the world lost Devon Jonathan Jones, one of the most warm hearted, creative, and talented human beings to ever live. Jonathan Jones loved his wife, Belinda Jones, and 3 children Taj Brooks Jones (14), Hunter Jones (8), and Harper Jones (4) with his whole heart. He was loved by many, including his mother, Kelly Jones, who witnessed his struggle with diabetes since he was first diagnosed at age 9.
Because of Jonathan's great love for his family, we are asking that you please consider helping his loved ones ensure that Jonathan's legacy endures for many generations.
In his short but full 34 years of life, Jonathan lived each day to the fullest, and had a true passion for music, dance, and graphic art.
Jonathan passed away in his vehicle parked outside of his routine dialysis center. He passed away outside of a medical treatment facility, despite reciveing a dialysis treatment that day, and returning to his car with plans to drive home. Jonathan’s engine was still running, for the entirety of the night, and the nurse who serviced him noticed his car was parked in the same spot when she came in for her next shift.
In addition to seeking financial aid in memoralizing Jonathan, the city impounded his vehicle immediately after his body was removed. This adds another devastating bill to our family, and considering the other circumstances, it is too much to bear.
Although Jonathan Jones is physically no longer with us, it is important we honor his legacy--- family and love.
