My cousin John, one of the most positive & gentle souls I’ve ever known, is struggling with a new diagnosis of an aggressive form of leukemia. He’s hospitalized & will be for several months, unable to see visitors, immuno-suppressed and bravely enduring his first round of chemo in the most suboptimal time to be hospitalized & immuno-suppressed.

I know this is one of the worst times in recent history to be asking for donations, but please know that any little bit helps. He’s the kind of person that would reciprocate any kindness. He’s simply the best kind of human there is.

I’m not one to ask anything of anyone, let alone during these trying times, but I’m overwhelmed by a feeling of helplessness & this is the only way I can think of to combat that. My cousin John has stayed positive when he & his family had to evacuate their home due to California wildfires, has been a pilot light of optimism & compassion, supportive of friends & family near & far. It’s time to give a bit of that back. He’s done a lot of good in this world & he’s too young to stop now.
