Hi my name is Emmanda, my sister, nieces and I are doing this go fund me page to help my mom and dad with increasing medical bills and other expenses due to dad's health.
My dad ( John) was diagnosed with Diffused Large B Cell Lymphoma towards the end of March. This is his second go round with cancer. Up until now he was cancer free for 18 years. With more testing we found out that the cancer had actually mutated and became more aggressive, therefore they had to be more aggressive with the chemo treatments, which resulted in numerous trips to the ER, multiple surgeries, frequent blood transfusions and extended stays at the hospital.
The cancer has also caused other medical problems along the way which in return is rendering his ability to fight off infections and heal from surgeries.
The amount of medical bills along with living and traveling expenses is adding up quickly. We as a family are trying to help as much as we can but we can only do so much on our own. Although our primary focus is on dad's health and healing it's difficult when there is financial burdens. Prayers and well wishes go a long way, but the reality is that Mom and Dad need financial assistance as Dad hopefully beats cancer and gets back on his feet again.
The goal is to raise $15,000 by the end of July to help with all existing and future medical bills. Those of you who know our family know that we don't hesitate to help those in need when we can. All's we ask is that you do the same. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated as Dad continues to fight this dreadful disease.
