John Yeats Olympic Bid

Greco-Roman is a style of Olympic wrestling, its origins in ancient Greece. It is one of the oldest sports. In Canada the face of Greco-Roman has to be Doug Yeats.

Now John has decided to fill those big shoes and he's on the precipice of achieving his dream.

He won the Canadian Olympic trials in December 2023 . The next step is to qualify the weight class by placing top two at the Pan American Championships in Mexico February 2024. Until then, there is no support from Canada Wrestling , he has to pay out of pocket and that's where we come in.

Expenses include: Airfare, accomodations , training camps / tournaments in US and Europe, entry fees yada yada yada.

Up to this point, John and Doug have been paying out of pocket to keep his dream alive. Now it's our turn to help
