This is my FRIEND, Sandra Jou! To know her is to absolutely LOVE her and LOVE her family, husband John, and 3 beautiful girls, Avalynn, and twins Keira and Elise. This family is a LIGHT to Arcadia and to all that know them. I'm truly blessed to call them our dearest friends.

Sandra and I became great friends over this last year. To be honest, it's a cute story...we met because our kiddos, Jacob and Avalynn, always chased each other at school. They were always so fun to watch! I don't know who ran faster, Jacob or Avalynn. :) The innocent chasing turned into life long friendships with their family. I'm so grateful that they came into our lives.

We didn't realize we both have a heart for community and business. Sandra and I recently launched a business networking group, BNI, in Arcadia. Not only is she an amazing mom and friend but she's one of the best CPAs in Arcadia. She has such a huge heart and strong work ethic; her client's love her. I am honored to call her my friend.

It is with a heavy heart that I share their story and humbly ask for your healing prayers and support. Sandra's husband John was just recently diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer and it has spread to his lungs  and liver.  The chemo port was installed and John has undergone 2 rounds so far. As you can imagine, this has been devastating news for their family. The one good news from the testing is that it is not hereditary; this was a big relief for the family. 

We are asking for your love and financial support to help with: medical expenses, groceries for meals (very strict diet), anything to help ease the burden on our friends. We will continue to update everyone on status as we check in periodically with Sandra and John. Please keep him and family in your thoughts and prayers. We graciously and humbly thank you.
