John Yang - cancer support

Update 9/27/22 - We are sorry to inform you that our beloved friend John Yang has passed away. We will continue to honor his legacy at Acuity Brands.

2021:

Our friend and Acuity Brands coworker John Yang was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. He will be starting chemo this Thursday, every 2 weeks.

John is a husband and father of 3 little girls.  He has been with Acuity Brands for 10 years (always a rock star performer) and in that time we have all grown to love him as a brother. He has become our go-to source for good food recommendations, the person we chat with regarding anime, and the one to push us whenever we join our friendly fitness competitions. 

We are asking for your love and support to help with: groceries for meals (very strict diet), entertainment for the kids, medical expenses, etc. - anything to help ease the burden on this wonderful family.  

We will continue to update everyone on status as we check in periodically with John.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
