We're reaching out to all our family and friends for support during a tragic time our family is currently facing. John, aka dad, has been involved in a terrible accident that has left him in an unimaginable condition.

Dad was doing a job that he has done for the last 40 years, a job that he knew like the back of his hand, and during this time he has had an unfortunate accident which has resulted in him being admitted into the ICU at the Royal North Shore Hospital. He has fallen off the roof of our family home in Umina.

Dad has been a valued member of our community his whole life. He is very well known, loved and respected by many.

His accident has left him currently incapacitated not knowing if he will walk again, at this stage dad can’t move his arms, legs, toes or hands and there is a lot of uncertainty around how he will fully recover. This is putting a tremendous strain on his family and business that he has dedicated his whole life to.

During the next 12 months the medial team have stated they will be working on his rehabilitation and treatment in the hopes of regaining some form of movement. During this time dad won’t be able to work or run his business.

Alongside the lifelong injuries and care now needed for John and the cost of his recovery is the the loss of his business and income to support his family. knowing that John is an extremely proud man this has left him and his family financially and emotionally and mentally shattered.

With that said, we are reaching out to our nearest and dearest to help support our family in making this difficult time a little less difficult.
