Hi my name is Niamh. Our friend John has been hit with unfortunate circumstances. He has been diagnosed with guillame-barre syndrome. This affects his muscles and nerves. He was only diagnosed when he lost his ability to walk, practically over night. Not only does this affect his regular day to day life, he can no longer work as his job was based around driving. This fundraiser is to cover the hospital bills and rehab facility he is currently calling home. After care costs are also expected to be high.
