Condensed version is: In June of 2021 our youngest child complained about having difficulty breathing, so he went to the Minute Clinic. They said it was bad and he should go to the hospital. At the hospital they told us he had a mediastinum mass. They admitted him and my wife was able to stay with him. The next morning she called saying he was rushed to SICU because his lung collapsed from fluid and he was going into emergency surgery. During the surgery they biopsied the mass, a large tumor in the chest about 13 cm x 10 cm and several smaller ones. It is was determined to be T-Cell lymphoma. Only 23 y.o…the baby. The treatment has been grueling and he has 2 more years of it. The side effects have taken their toll (difficulty walking, use of his hands, hair loss, etc.). Right now he has not been able to work. Disability provided him a one time payment of $2000 back in October. While we are helping with whatever we can, he is struggling financially and it is taking its toll. We appreciate any support. Please keep the family in your prayers. We need them.
