Hello....
My name is John E Smith from Littleton NH. I am a former Littleton NH police officer and NH Private Detective. Most people from the online community know me as John "TruthSeeker" Smith from the Maura Murray disappearance. For the past 17 years plus I have been working with the Murray family trying to help find out what happened to Maura Murray on February 9th 2004. Maura disappeared under very suspicious circumstances and had not been seen or heard from since then.
Most people familiar with the case and the online community of Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, Websleuths etc. are quite aware of how this case has taken over the internet with True Crime fans, Armchair Detectives, Podcasts, profilers and more. But....the case has also taken on a trove of devious internet Trolls that Annoy, Harass, create havoc, threaten people and even make bomb threats towards police in St. John Canada. Because of this the case has taken on some new investigative entities such as the FBI and the DHS. Hopefully the investigation by the FBI and DHS bring forth the answers to stop whoever is behind this atrocious, disgusting display of filthiness.
It must be stopped and the focus must be put back onto Maura Murray, after all she is still missing and the Murray family has no answers as to what happened to their loved one. Back to Maura..!
To get to the actual point of this GoFundMe........
The reason I am starting this GoFundMe is because a member of the online Maura Murray community is suing me for Libel, Slander and defamation. All these accusations are Unfounded & Untrue and in court this will be resolved and my name will be cleared of any wrongdoing. The Truth will prevail.
The person that has filed the suit is well known in the Maura Murray community and has been around since at least 2013, according to him. He goes by the name Fulk, Fulkstop, Fulk002 as well as Not Without Peril etc. and other alts but his real name is Joseph o. Anderson from Massachusetts.
Mr. Anderson believes that I am several different accounts online in the community and actually behind all of the sadistic trolling, harassment, Threats and more. This is the furthest thing from the Truth. There is not a shred of evidence that proves these accusations and that is because it is not true.
Mr. Anderson is on a mission to clear his name (I don't blame him) because of the unknown troll(s) actions and emails that have stated that Joseph Anderson killed Maura Murray. That is a serious accusation and of course it should be taken seriously. I too want Mr. Anderson to find out who is behind this so that we can move on. But again I will reiterate, it is not me.
So.....the ultimate reason for this GoFundMe is to pay for a proper defense team to represent me in court. Unfortunately because of my finances and living on a fixed monthly income due to disability I found it necessary to start this fund to garner enough money for proper representation by a qualified Defamation attorney that has taken my case and will fight for the Truth.
I was served with papers today 10/15/2021 and have 30 days to make appearance and answer to this complaint.
Any donated monies will be used for My lawyer fees and any costs incurred in the process of this lawsuit.
