Life can change in an instant. Today was that day. We lost our home, and had no time to get anything but pets and family. The most important, of course, but mourning that loss none the less. Took these last pics as we left. This was about 9am, even though it was dark as night. The white streaks are ash raining down. Almost our entire town is gone. Schools, post office, shopping centers, almost all homes. Surreal. We are so grateful and blessed that John's boss opened his home to us, and our pets. TY so much, family, for your offers of provision!! You are easing some very heavy pressures. We are being well cared for. Love to all.
