John Taylor pay medical bills for TPN

John has lived with a complicated case of Crohn’s disease for nearly 20 years. For the last three years, his sole form of nutrition has been TPN, a formula made for him by a specialty pharmacy to meet his daily nutritional needs. Due to some unforeseen circumstances with his Insurance/Medicare/ disability his TPN has not been covered for several months. Our hope is that on February 1 his insurance will pick up and start covering all of his needs again. He also has an ileostomy, and the products needed to care for his ostomy are currently not being covered by insurance as well. John is currently inpatient at the Mayo hospital in Jacksonville, FL. After some weeks of not getting nutrition enough to sustain him, he had to be hospitalized. The out of pocket cost of covering his Nutritional and ostomy needs over the next month and a half, after he is discharged from the hospital, will be nearly $10,000. Once all of his insurance kicks in properly, he will be fine, but meanwhile his day to day survival is severely compromised.

Any amount you are able to give will help pay many months of what was not covered and help over the next month or so until Medicare kicks in.
