John Swaffield Surgery Recovery Fundraiser

Hello, my name is John. I need surgery on my hip to repair a torn labral hip ligament. After surgery, I will be off work for approximately 3 months.

I am a Theater Technician and work at several different theaters to cover our expenses. The work is physical labor, so I will be unable to work while I recover. We are only looking to raise $6,000.00 to help pay for just a portion of our monthly bills for the 3 months – like utilities, home insurance, car insurance, telephones, groceries, etc.

Our medical insurance covers the surgery, but due to the type of work I do, I do not qualify for state disability insurance. Therefore, I will be without a source of income for the 3 months while recovering and doing physical therapy.

We acknowledge that everyone is going through a hard time right now, and we sincerely appreciate every penny donated to help keep our home afloat.
