Running in Memory of My Daddy John Shaw

Hi Everyone, My Name is Ciara Shaw and
on the 19th of April, I’ll be taking on the Manchester Marathon in memory of my daddy, who we sadly lost on 6th November 2025 following a road traffic collision.

Losing him has changed my life forever. Since then, running has been my way of coping, helping me through the hardest days and giving me a sense of strength and purpose when I needed it most.

I’m running not only for him, but to raise funds for Road Victim Support Northern Ireland–Donegal, a charity that has supported me and so many others through unimaginable loss. They are a family-led charity dedicated to helping individuals and families affected by road traffic collisions, offering emotional support, practical help, and a compassionate network so no one has to face grief alone.

Their work includes providing guidance, support groups, and advocacy for families whose lives have been forever changed by road trauma, all delivered by people who truly understand the pain of loss.

This cause is incredibly close to my heart. The support I’ve received has meant everything to me, and now I want to give something back so they can continue helping others who are going through the same heartbreak.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.

Thank you so much for your support
